Today we spent a day under a bridge in downtown Miami with Showering Love and Miami Vineyard Community Church.
Those experiencing homelessness got to take a shower, get a meal & grab an essentials bag from us containing a sleeping bag, flashlight, poncho and new pair of socks.
The way their eyes lit up when they heard they were getting a sleeping bag and flashlight was humbling to say the least. Things you and I take for granted like a blanket to sleep with or light after dark mean SO much to them.
Giving love and hope in a world as crazy as ours is today is such a blessing. One we are so grateful you all help us provide. On behalf of everyone we helped today – thank you.
