Last year we started a new tradition of working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County to select a Title 1 school and provide gifts to the children involved in the program.
A Title 1 school is a school where a high concentration of the population is low income, homeless, or facing financial hardships. This means that some of these children may not receive too many gifts from Santa, if any at all.
This year we’ve been assigned to an elementary school that was determined as the highest need for our partnership. We can’t wait to deliver holiday cheer and see the smiles on these beautiful children’s faces.
We’ve created a wish list for some of the items we will be providing to the children. We aim to provide 2-3 gifts per child, a board game and a stocking stuffed with goodies.
We ask that if you’d like to donate that you do so by Friday December 6 as we will be attending the school on Wednesday December 11!
